Brief profile: Hari Govind Singh is director of Arthik Anusandhan Kendra (AAK), having more than 38 years of experience in the field of development. He studied Masters in Defence and Strategic Studies in the year 1985. He is having wide experience of development sector and implemented various development projects. He conducted extensive capacity building and training of different stakeholders on livelihood, community development and other development issues. At present, he si also an executive member of National Literacy Misson Board, Uttar Pradesh.
Seema Jaiswal
Brief profile: Ms. Seema has been promoting gender rights and clear environment. She has completed her education till graduation. She was associated with the Namami Ganga Project to protect the river Ganga. She helped for many drop-out girls’ re-admission. She also focussed on securing scholarships for girls. Seema ji has worked for urban homeless also. She was able to organise shelter and guest houses for the homeless persons.
Vanshi Dhar Mishra
Brief profile: Vanshi Dhar ji completed his education till post-graduation. He was a Zonal Officer in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Even after his illustrious tenure at TCS, post-retirement, he actively engaged in social work. He is serving as the chairperson of the Arthik Anusandhan Kendra since 10 January 2021. Under his leadership, AAK has taken many important steps for the upliftment of the needy section of society. He contributed significantly in promoting the education of children, especially girls. Vanshi ji also worked for the domestic women workers in Prayagraj. He helped get medical assistance from government hospitals to poor and needy patients.
Kishun
Brief profile: Kishun Ji has been a Governing Board Member of Arthik Anusandhan Kendra since 10 October 2017. He has completed his education till high school. He is an experienced and committed agriculturist who not only adopted advanced agricultural practices in his fields but also inspired the farmers of his region. He aims to inspire the farmers to take more production at low cost and get a fair price. Kishun ji played an important role in expanding irrigation facilities in his area by taking advantage of government schemes. Under his leadership, the group of farmers succeeded in getting lift irrigation projects established from the government through collective efforts. His contribution not only increased the yield of his land, but also improved the quality of agriculture in the entire region and provided farmers with opportunities to live a better life.
Kanta Rani Chopra
Brief profile: Kanta ji worked with the Kamla Nehru Hospital, Prayagraj as a health worker for three decades. During this time she demonstrated her dedication and diligence in patient care and hospital administration. Even after retirement, her association with social service continued. She made voluntary contributions to the education and overall development of children in Shishu Shiksha Niketan. Presently Kanta Rani Chopra is serving as Treasurer in Arthik Anusandhan Kendra since 10 October 2007. She has made many innovative efforts to make health services accessible in rural areas.
Gulab Prasad
Brief profile: Gulab Prasad has been a member of the Governing Board of Arthik Anusandhan Kendra since 10 October 2017. He was born in the tribal area of Mirzapur district, located on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The area was surrounded by dense forests and there was a huge lack of education facilities. Despite this, Gulab Prasad completed his graduation with his hard work and dedication and became the first person in his village to receive higher education. He gave free education to the boys and girls of the village for 10 years. His efforts also made it possible to establish a government school in the village.
Gulab Prasad was elected as the village head for his service spirit and development work. As the head, he promoted education, cleanliness and other development works in the village. Seeing his dedication, the government made him a member of the Tribal Development Committee.
Meena Singh
Brief profile: Meena Singh has completed her graduation. She is a skilled and experienced agriculturist. She has used her agricultural knowledge and experience not only to improve her livelihood but also to make other farmers in the rural community, especially women, aware of sustainable and advanced farming methods. Her methods have not only improved production but also created a prestigious image for her. Meena Singh has played an active role as an executive member of the Arthik Anusandhan Kendra since 10 October 2017. She has provided leadership and support in various social and developmental programmes related to women.
