Goat Rearing Supports the Family

Krishnavati, a mother of eight, faced immense challenges in providing for her family with an irregular income of ₹3,500–4,000 per month. Struggling to make ends meet, she shared her aspiration for goat rearing with Arthik Anusandhan Kendra, which recognized her determination and provided her with three goat kids. This small but crucial support marked the beginning of her journey toward financial stability. With unwavering dedication and hard work, she grew her herd to 16 goats in just two years.
Her efforts transformed her livelihood, increasing the family’s monthly income to approximately ₹6,000. Beyond financial gains, the goats became a vital resource for nutrition and security.
