Krishnavati who has a family of eight people, was struggling to make two ends meet with irregular wages. The family was having a meagre monthly income between INR 3500-4000 per month. She expressed to AAK that she wished to do goat rearing. AAK thought it is her work of choice. AAK supported with 3 baby goats. Krishnavati showed her dedication and increased the goat from 3 to 16 in two years. This has not only given her assets to be used at the time of need but can also be used to support their nutrition. Due to having goats with her, the family income has increased to around INR 6000 per month. When there was an emergency at home, she didn’t had to borrow, she sold her 4 goats for 16000/- and met her essential expense in a dignified manner.
